N-acetyl cysteine is a building block of glutathione, the master antioxidant, and a mucolytic that thins sticky mucus in the lungs.
WHO IT'S FOR
Adults with chronic bronchitis or COPD (fewer flare-ups), thick mucus or a smoking history, liver support needs, and PCOS (adjunct).
HOW TO TAKE
1 capsule 1–2 times daily.
GOOD TO KNOW
Sulphur smell, GI upset. Take care in asthma (rare bronchospasm), with nitroglycerin, and with active peptic ulcer.
